Underfoot Feel
The Nike Infinity RN 4 are the first model to feature ReactX foam. While previously used React cushioning offers great energy return, ReactX gives you 13% more. This means it provides lots of protection and bounce.
ReactX foam also reduces the carbon footprint of the midsole by at least 43% in comparison to React foam.
For extra stability, the Infinity RN 4 midsole has intentionally placed cushioning and tuned support.
With a curved midsole geometry, the transition from landing to toe-off is smoother.
Upper Fit
Nike's Flyknit technology leads the way when it comes to uppers. A Flyknit fit band extends the feeling of support from the midsole to the upper. This rubber like band holds your midfoot in place.
The Infinity RN 4 upper balances comfort and functionality. That's because your ankle and midfoot are held in place by soft padding around the heel collar and on the tongue. While a water-repellent liner in the toe area protects your forefoot from rain and puddles.
We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes size for the best fit. Nike has acknowledged that these have a snug fit.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend using the Nike Women's Infinity RN 4 stability running shoes for slow to steady paced runs. The ultra cushioned midsole should feel comfortable for everything from short recovery runs, to long miles at the weekend.
As a result of the supportive construction, the Infinity RN 4 should suit runners who need greater levels of support for unstable feet and ankles.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
